Take an off-road trip through isolated African villages, farmlands, and plantations. On this quad excursion, you’ll see Baobabs and spice trees, sample delicious tropical fruits, and visit the beach.
Meet your guide at the activity provider's office and then drive approximately 4 kilometers along the main road to Pwani Majangani. The tour usually includes a brief stop at a local shop where you can purchase food to give as a gift to the town.
After this brief pit stop, you leave the tarmac road to ride the quad off-road through the rice fields, where your guide will spend around 15 minutes explaining the economy, culture, and traditions of the villages in the island's center.
Following this explanation, the journey continues through the island's surroundings until you arrive at the local village, where you will spend approximately an hour.
Travelers will be able to spend time with the children, play with them, and interact with the village population. Following the initial interaction, your guide will serve tourists local fresh fruits (Madafu, seasonal fresh fruit).
Next, visit the House of Mad, a typical rural village residence, where your guide will highlight Zanzibarian life and culture. Before returning to the quad, explore plantations of cinnamon, cloves, lemon grass, and other types grown by local residents.
Finally, you leave the area and ride to Pwani Majangani to visit the fishermen's community. At the village, you will take a few minutes to explain the distinction between the rural village and the community on the Island's shore.
Following the sand path, passing through the fishermen's houses, you arrive at the beach, where you will rest for a few minutes before returning to your starting position.
